Honestly, keep doing what you do best. Making games and sharing your journey. You have no idea how much it helps us to have your perspective on game development. It inspires us all to do even better.

How about a treatise on how to generate new ideas for a newsletter? Just kidding! :D But in all seriousness, Kai has the right of it. I like seeing how you creatively solve actual issues that come up when coding stuff, because it helps me visualize/discover other methods for solving problems in my games.

I guess the one topic I'm most interested in right now is emergent mechanics/design.

You are right. Sometimes it is important to be reminded why we do this in the first place, when we sometimes struggle for hours or days with coding bugs or advanced features that was not planned properly, so it feels like wasting 10 hours or more on absolutely nothing, because most of the time game development is truely a joy, even fixing bugs can be a nice challenge. Taking breaks for a day or so also helps with productivity and perspective. I like your book by the way. I have ready it many times. Perfect format.

I agree with Kai. I'm enjoying the content you're putting out. It's lovely to see the game development process from a different perspective. You're providing some wonderful insight to the process as a whole, and it makes my day a little better every time I see a new post come up.

It's always a good reminded to reevaluate our outlook on the game development process, thank-you for providing that today!
